CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

It is an Olympic sport par excellence, but it is above all a practice of ski touring in the middle of snowy mountains. It is a complete sport that allows you to work the whole body and is very dynamic. It is of course accessible to everyone because cross-country skiing is practiced on flat or hilly slopes.

CIRCUITS FROM COURCHEVEL

From Courchevel 1850, enjoy 90 km of marked and groomed trails for an outing in the heart of the forest. There are 9 free trails and unusual circuits :

  • The 5 kilometers long Col de la Loze loop will take you through an idyllic setting to Roc Tania where you will find Mont Blanc in the background.
  • The 17 kilometers long Courchevel / Meribel Altiport trail is a long trail that will appeal to cross-country skiers as the snow is generally of very good quality.
  • The Bouc Blanc itinerary is 5 kilometers long and is a hilly course that will take you through the forest.
  • The Courchevel La Tania circuit is 15 kilometers long and will take you through the spruce forest of La Tania.
  • The 5 kilometers long “Boucle du Belvédère” is an easy route with an unequaled beauty thanks to its generous sunshine.
  • Les Brigues / Chantery is a 5 kilometers long round trip offering a nice climb through the ski slopes of Courchevel.
  • The Bouc Blanc is an 8-kilometer-long circuit reserved for the initiated.
  • The Méribel-Altiport is an 18-kilometer-long course that is an extension of the Bouc Blanc circuit.
  • The Nordic Site of Le Praz is composed of 3 loops (5 km, 7 km, and 8.5 km) and was used for the 1992 Olympic Games. The first loop is a simple circuit for learning and the other two will allow you to work on your style and technique.
