There are a total of 9 signposted routes through Courchevel. Each route offers a different landscape to all hikers, even those with different levels. The itineraries are colored green, blue, red, and black, like the ski slopes, informing you of the degree of difficulty.

Take advantage of the services of a professional guide to accompany you on your snowshoeing outings and allow you to get off the beaten track and discover the Alps from a new angle. This person will take you to a river bed, across snowy fields, or down powdery slopes, you may even come across some wild animals.

THE EQUIPMENT YOU WILL NEED

Although winter snowshoeing is a dream, it is an activity during which you will be exposed to the cold and left to your own devices. For a day hike, don’t forget to equip yourself with

  • 3 layers of clothing;
  • An extra down jacket in your backpack;
  • For the bottom layer, bring waterproof and insulating snow pants with integrated gaiters;
  • Choose warm, waterproof shoes;
  • And finally, thick socks.

It is important to cover your head, ears, neck, and hands. A pair of gloves lined with thin under-gloves will be perfect.
